HydraHealth & Wellness offers a range of personalized healthcare including weight loss treatment, IV hydration therapy, hormone replacement therapy, Women’s Wellness visits, and Primary Care services.
To schedule an appointment please call 205-544-1336, Monday-Thursday 9-5p and Friday 9-2p.
The initial consultation fee is $125.00. This does not cover the cost of the medication prescribed or any lab work needed.
During your first visit, you will fill out forms related to your medical history and current medications. You will be asked to provide a valid picture ID. We will weigh you and take your vitals. You will meet one on one with the nurse practitioner to discuss your medical history, weight loss goals, BMI, nutrition, exercise, and then you will be provided with an individualized weight loss plan to include recommended diet, medications and/or supplements, Lab work will be done on the initial visit-if indicated. If you have lab results from another provider within the last 3-6 months, please bring a copy with you to your appointment. The first visit can last anywhere from 30 mInutes to 1 hour.
After the intitial consultation fee, we do not charge a monthly fee. The only monthly cost after your first visit is your medication cost. If you miss more than 2 months, you will have to pay a follow up consultation fee of $75.00 if you want to resume your weight loss medications.
If you do not want to come in the clinic for weekly injections, an individual prescription for a vial can be sent to the pharmacy and then delivered directly to your home. Cost will vary depending on your dose and a $30.00 shipping fee is required.
We offer telehealth for weight loss visits only. Telehealth is available to Alabama and Florida residents only.
Pricing for weight loss telehealth visits are the same as in person visits. The visit is conducted on a secure HIPPA compliant platform via video with our practitioner. Prior to your appointment you will be required to register in our patient portal to complete all paperwork and consent forms. You must have a valid email address and the ability to upload documents. Once your telemedicine visit is complete, the Medical Provider will send your prescription to the compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy will ship via UPS express service directly to your home address. The added fee for shipping is $30.00. No prescriptions will be sent before consultation fee, 4 week medication cost, and all fees are paid in full.
We are not responsible for medication once it is shipped and do not issue any refunds or exchanges for damages, delayed shipment, or lost medications.
The answer to this question depends on the stability of your medical problems and the types of medications you are taking. Please be sure to include details about any medical problems you are currently being treated for and list all of your prescriptions/over-the-counter medications on your new patient paperwork. If any of this information changes while you are being treated for weight loss, please be sure to tell the nurse during your appointment. Please be sure to let our practitioner know if you have any of the following conditions: uncontrolled blood pressure, chest pain (Angina), history of heart attack or heart disease, history of stroke, Mitral Valve Prolapse, Glaucoma, pregnancy, hypoglycemic, history of pancreatitis, thyroid conditions, or kidney failure.
IV Hydration Therapy is a great option if you're seeking fast, powerful hydration. The treatment includes the intravenous injection of saline solution and vitamins to deliver nutrition, minerals, and fluids quickly.
During the procedure, a healthcare provider will insert an IV line into your arm and the solution will be delivered directly into your bloodstream over a period of time. Depending on your needs, this process could last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. Throughout the therapy, you may experience a cooling sensation- don't worry, this is normal! Once completed, you should notice positive effects immediately with improvements in overall energy levels and improved mood.
